Sweet Goodbyes.

Sweet Goodbyes.

A Poem by Nina Marie
"

"I'll think of you...."

"

The image of your face,
In my mind's eye,
Begins to fade,
I'll think of you.

The tears I have shed,
Of feeling for you,
Begin to dry,
I'll think of you.

The scars I have left,
That line my thigh,
Begin to heal,
I'll think of you.

And the pieces of my heart,
Scattered and broken,
Begin to mend.
I'll think of you....

Hard hitting emotional work. You've found a way to pull the reader's heart right into the core of your poems.

this is nice as well (: much like the others. they are common in subject matter but that is the when the best writing comes out. this also sounds like something i would write about.. damn brains and thinking too much >.< ha

Nice write. Your poetry's pretty deep. It takes a while to get over an intimate relationship, but time heals all wounds, like they say.

Very nice Nina!
The scars part bothers but only in a caring way, not a literary one.

Great job here!
