Forgotten

A Poem by SimplyDisastrous

The past is irrelevant

The future is in her hands

She must do now what thousands

Before her could not: She must find a way out.

For she is trapped, the walls closing in on her

Her screams go unheard, her tears go to waste.

Her hands are encrusted with blood from scratching

At the walls, in her desperation to get out.

Soon, the tears are replaced with pure, blind fury

As she comes to a sudden realization:

She is alone now, the people who have been with her

Before having left her alone to her demise.

The close friends you have now, even they can leave when you most need them and replace them in a second. Never forget that.

Test of real friendship. People who stay with you in the bad times. Are the real friends. We have very few in a life. I like the way you made your point in this poem. No weakness in this poem. Thank you for a excellent poem.

Hey. I used to be on here alot when I was 15. Now, not so much. I'm 18 now and I'm not nearly as depressing as I used to be, but still depressing enough. Message me and feel free to read my old poems... more..
