Cafeteria Misery
I’m sitting by myself in the corner of This cafeteria. I stare at them, wide eyed, they stare back Like I’m some kind of new found bacteria.
I don’t want to be seen, They make me feel so unclean.
I wish I had someone who would talk To me here, a friend. If not, is this it, is this the end?
After all, this is school You need to survive, you need to be cool.
You can’t be a geek, You can’t be a nerd A dork? To them, that’s Even more absurd!
Well, I guess my kindness has been All for naught I mean, it’s not like their friendship is Something
I had sought.
