SOMETIMES, Someone Says Something really SMALL but it FITS Right into this EMPTY SPACE… in the heart…

Everytime I close my eyes

I always have this dream

Where I could be with you

And you would love me too

 

Every single day of my life

From that time I laid my eyes on you

I can’t help but have this feeling

Building up inside me ready to burst

 

I always look forward

To Tuesdays and Fridays at school

Because then, I’ll get the chance to see you

At that same spot with your friends

 

Then I wish nights would have been longer

So I would forever repeat those wonders

Of the magic within my fantasy

Where reality is most unlikely

 

Just a glimpse of your face

And a glance to your side

Makes me the happiest person on Earth

A moment waiting for remembrance

 

I do not know how it’d come to this

You are two years younger than me

An uncertainty I’ve had

Although age does not make a difference in love

 

I’m a science major

You’re a literature student

Can we blend together in terms of intellect?

Put one and one to make two sets of minds?

 

A lot of worries are ahead

So little time to spare

I wonder if in another space and time

Will it be you who’s living my life?

 

I try to hide this agitation

Whenever you pass me by

The way I try to look at you

Cannot hide these thoughts I’ve had

 

One time, when I was eating

With my best friend at the café

How can I ever forget that special day?

Where you finally look at my way

 

But then again, doubts and anxiety overtook me

Maybe he knew, what should I do?

He’ll certainly avoid me in the future

Sounds like a stalker thing to do

 

I didn’t look at him

For fear of whatever lies ahead

That’s when my best friend told me

What I unexpectedly wanted to hear

 

“I think he was waiting

For you to return that glance

Maybe, confirm something else

Like admiration which a crush would do

 

The wisdom behind those words

Never seem to fail me at that

And I hope, one day, I’ll have the courage

To face my true love and tell him what I feel

So it's a little early for Valentine's Day. But hey, it doesn't matter if you're in love,right? I'm just going through a little bit of anxiety whenever I see my crush and I hope I won't do crazy things in front of him. Hope this gets away anytime now. Aw, you have a very lovely experience. Hope I'll also get my special person soon. haha!:D It's just so frustrating when he's right there just a few meters and I can't seem to approach him because I'm shy. Yes, I'm glad girls and guys are no different. TV shows always made a fuss that girls always have this irritating squeal when they are around their crushes and I think this is so wrong. They just try to hide it by looking away or blushing but not going as far as screaming right into someone else's ears. (though it might be true for celebrity crushes!:D)
