My Hero

My fiance has lekumia and he has been the biggest hero i could ever dream of.

My hero wears an orange ribbon 'round his neck
And even with the needle in his vein
His love for all has never faltered
My hero has once saved me
Now a life without him seems unheard
My hero who pain may render weak
Is the one who I would die for

I hope for the best for your fiance. My brother won the battle twice with leukemia. Been 20 years since the leukemia was defeated for the second time. A sad and beautiful poem. A very good ending to a powerful poem.
