Smile

Smile

A Poem by Scandalous

Not every thought is brilliant

Not every thought it bright.

Been when I’m lying next to you,

I know I’ll be alright.

Not every smile is real.

I know you’re mostly lying.

But honey, I wish I could heal you,

Make you never feel like crying.

Baby I know what makes it better.

What I see when I close my eyes.

So clear you could be standing in front of me.

Like your soft touch on my thighs.

Please just smile.

For only a smile in kindness

Can heal what dark thoughts have destroyed in our hearts,

And open our eyes from painful blindness.

Not every thought is brilliant

Not every thought is bright.

Been when I’m lying next to you,

I can make it one more night.

I agree with your words and your logic dear Poet.
"Please just smile.
For only a smile in kindness
Can heal what dark thoughts have destroyed in our hearts,
And open our eyes from painful blindness."
A kind word and a smile can make another life better. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
