The world looks better through these lies

Thought of you as everything I couldn’t find

Lost in translation as I dance through your eyes

Two souls become one as our worlds collide

 

Reality begs to veil us as our minds transcend

We can go back to the old days again

Where love is free and we don’t have to pretend

Paralyzed in the light as we try to bend

 

Memories begin to fade as I wake in this place

Life is never promised and to live is just a game
