PrisonA Poem by Sibusiso KotelaI feel imprisoned by my recent experiences in love.
I'm struggling to forget,
Heart defeats reason and summons remembrance, Beautiful hands, faces filled with blissful expression Giving life to forgotten experience. And all since I almost died, Murder attempted by my own desolate feeling, Barring thoughts of healing And bringing forth... You. Emotion strikes me with a lash of sorrow, Restraining sight from seeing, Disabling the morrow. Now I'm in the rain again, Hoping it will help ban These feelings, but not you. I want to dissolve. © 2013 Sibusiso Kotela
