The Faerie and the Dragon - Part IIIA Poem by Sazakuiii. The dragon wept and swam away. By this world, his calloused heart betrayed. What point was there for him to stay? He'd rather wash out with the swirling waves. A light appeared on the tranquil sea. Waltzing through a midnight dreary. Even through his eyes, so weary... He'd never mistake his darling Faerie. "You and I are worlds apart, but here, forever in your hands, my heart. This twisted world may never see the beauty that I find in thee." "Together, let the sirens sing, our bond no longer caught between. The Sky and the Sea will keep fighting on, though you, my Dragon, were mine all along." His arms embraced the Fae once more, as She lead him back to the distant shore. It was there, among the supple sands, He boldly asked her for her hand. Before they embraced all night in a brand new land.
