![]() Ocean FloorA Poem by Sazaku![]() ![]() Oceans fill these light blue lines, consigned to spaces pre-defined but the depths contain infinite designs. Stitching together tight-lipped rhymes with fast-paced emotions played in double-time by this bow, my pen, as it grinds rosin-thick notes from the strings of my mind as inspiration and isolation intertwine. Things have changed, some things never do. I'm sure that thought is familiar to you. But imagine a time that it was new to contemplate the consequences from another view just to make sense of the abuse that was happening to someone else - not you. Fill your notebook with the confessions of a different youth. Dress them up in a fancy suit, cover tattered rags of truth. Craft a whole world for them to explore, give them a villain and a lover to adore. End on a twist, leave them wanting more so maybe they'll gaze beyond the shore and discover the tale that inspired the score - the whispers of a voice that wanted to roar but knew that, when given a chance before... his eyes could do nothing but stare at the floor.
