Ravings of a Mind UndisciplinedA Poem by Sazaku...Softly does the night embrace me, this churning, umbral mass of entropy about my fleeting thoughts ensnared. Engulfing without a care for air. The heedless breath of dawning winter blown lightly upon my solemn heart. Flesh molded from so tender an art dashed again to frozen splinters. I've begun to play this devil's game though I've never even learned its name. To join but takes a bargain's ante - I simply had to want it badly. But if love was what I thought I'd find I surely must be mad or blind. This thing I feel is nothing more than misery dolled up like a w***e. Yet unto Her I placed my vice as if some noble sacrifice. If love is found in fairy tales then I guess my story's gotten stale. Despite this, I can't help but find ironic satisfaction of a kind. My mind is far too sharp to miss how beautiful a desolation is this. So come dear misery, defile my bed. I long to taste your heady dread. Make me forget these nights alone. Your pain's less bitter than my own.
