She Weeps

She Weeps

A Poem by Sazaku
"

"
I've touched the sun.
I've watched it fade.
I've painted days
in blues and greys.

I've seen skies bleed,
great rosy streaks.
Impaled like spikes
on frozen peaks.

But now she weeps
down stormy cheeks.
Her face the clouds -
they've sprung a leak.

Author's Note

Sazaku
I don't really know where this came from. Maybe from some of the music I've been listening to, maybe some leftovers from last night (see my previous poem, Nocturnus Interruptus, if that doesn't ring a bell) or some other stimulus hiding in my subconscious. Probably all of the above.

I liked how you used the description of the sun and sky. You create visions and thoughts. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
