Civil (dis)ObedienceA Poem by SazakuFondest beginnings from salt-bathed endings. Tradition forged at its core to bond us together forevermore. Violent mountain majesty; blatant lies, 'tis of thee. Amber waves of wilted grain waver as the candles wane. Calls to what we could be again scribed by swords disguised as pens. An eagle, free to fly in peace, so long as it stays on its leash. And nevermind our past mistakes - in fact, here's another pill to take whenever that pain does return from all that debt it took to learn.
