The Grove of StarsA Poem by SazakuVerse 1 - Legend of the Argent VagabondMist enveloped grove of stars Spectral shrine of lost memoirs. A place were few have ever tread. World reserved for honored dead. Scent of lilies' fragile essence. Leaves of gentle iridescence. Frost-kissed pond, forever still The sacred garden of Fate's will. Waist deep in the placid pool, searching for a stolen jewel. Into the void his path may trace, but what's been lost he can't replace. Further through the silent vale The fog engulfs him in it's veil. Amidst the swirling cloud of white awaits a figure cloaked in night. "What you seek, you'll surely find draped in chains that won't unbind. Turn back now, this place forget. Before I can't forgive your debt." But the voyage here was far too long. The nightmares' grip had grown too strong. He'd told himself a lifetime past the journey here would be his last. "Ah, so the Siren truly has your soul; for you, the bell will never toll. Many men would view this as a gift. It's only us who see a curse to lift." "Then through the portal may you pass But do not forget where you trespass. The horrors of the world beyond will break you, argent vagabond..." The veil of mist behind him parted, Pathway to a realm uncharted. Through the door entered the man; to where his ending first began.
