The Conservative PartyA Poem by SayreNot necessarily politically charged, just based on observations.Problems with solutions that I do not know So many places I wish to go Erase all the hate from the face of the earth Demonstrate the rising maturity rate Castrate the mandates, And Political candidates To cease the reproduction of the animalistic ways Our children are raised in. We bathe them in praise Day after day, spoiled, and pampered Brought up to complain. Address me with some manners I’ve possession of a phrase Life changing Although it may be portrayed as cliché; Carpe Diem, seize the day Let your worries fade to space Reside in a place where all regrets will dissipate. It’s about observation, the relaxation The kind you get when you crank up the radio station. Take time to practice the art of meditation Its ancient, but it works That’s the reason it’s famous. Plenty of lessons I did not learn; Earn your own, be stern, Let the other cheek turn Let it burn, let it fester Let it get worse, Bottle it up. When you’re in your lonesome Let it disperse The hypocrisy got to me, How is your philosophy unchanged? You are caged in the mind And you are blinded in the eyes Finding ways to disguise Your perceptive cataract haze. Observation is the key. Conservation is my life. Conversations lead me to believe I need my own advice. © 2010 SayreAuthor's Note
