Stand By My Side

Stand By My Side

A Poem by Sayonara

Here I lay.
About to cry.
Wishing you'd stay by my side.
I wish I may.
I wish I might.
I wish I could stand up in this fight.
I might lose sight.
Of my delight.
And just lay here and give up my life.
Just one time
You were mine.
And at the drop of a dime.
I turned blind.
Love is a curse.
Love is a crime.
Love isn't sweet.
But sour like lime.
Am I invisible?
Why am I miserible?
Why am I incappable of being loveable.
This pain is unbareable.
Its unreasonable.
It sounds unbelieveable.
Its inconceivable.
I don't like sorrow.
I don't like pain.
I can see how nothing is the same
No one to blame.
This isn't a game.
Love isn't mine to tame.
I have not lied
No matter how hard I've tried.
To keep us alive.
This is what you decide.
I need you to Stand by my side.
As I take this dose of psyanide.
