Show Me Your Blood

Show Me Your Blood

A Poem by Sayonara

Im here to kill you.
Im here to see some blood.
Im here to see a flood.
Say another word and ill cut your arm slowly
Dont worry.... this will be far from boring.
I want to make you bleed so bad.
Why do you look so sad?
You made me do this.
What other choice do i have?
Now dont cry.
Just sit there and hope you dont die!
There goes your right arm.
You cant do me harm.
There goes your left leg.
I told said you were going to pay one day.
There goes your left arm.
Scream all you want.
No one will hear your alarm.
There goes your right leg.
Now your just a peg.
All that blood.
Leaking onto the floor.
You look like your in pain.
Do you want some more?
The only thing left is your head.
Do you wish you never said what you said?
Im going to count to ten.
Then this is going to be the end.
......
10!

You surly made your point in this poem whereby you use blood and gore as a metaphor for strong feelings that go with being betrayed by someone who was trusted to be loyal. In the military, traitors are shot. In civil society murders are fried in the electric chair. Therefore you must have learned this way of getting even by way of our civil authorities. Without intense emotion, there would be no violent reaction to all those things that fill us full of anger. All in all this should act as a catharsis for those who really feel this way. It might prevent them from going that far. I stopped watching TV years ago, but at that time all I ever saw was blood and gore cathartic morality plays. A few hundred years ago people in England were drawn and quartered in public because people naturally seem to love blood and gore. The powers that be must think that most Americans are in need of a catharsis. They must think that we're all nuts. What you're doing is nothing new. Also try not to use your for you're. If you keep writing along these lines you might be able to make millions some day writing bloody morality plays for America's blood thirsty TV audience some day. Good luck!
