Introduction

This is a curious occurrence, a situation that has never before been encountered.  What an improbability that one of the strong conceived emotions, and what a greater improbability that this strong one directed the emotions towards a weakling.

Before the Infestation, a spy was sent into the midst of the weaklings for there was much growth among them.  The Infestation was imminent.  Plans were nearly infallible, and a spy among them was necessary to guarantee success.

The occurrence was improbable, but improbability is not synonymous with impossibility.
