Lessons learnedA Poem by SavyNesslike a pair of parentheses
Hands that crucify your wrist to the bed frame
bodies pressed so hard your heart beat left morse code indentations Exchanging smiles that assured a false peace fingers trailing my skin as if they were brail but never read "be warned" Promises made off highs, She rocked his socks off, and him? her pants. Intentions spoken but were never in stone Two wholesome hearts, that now roam alone People are paired; but never promised Just like the days, they come and they go by now, this much you should know
