Ready is an understatement

So ready to lose myself in your eyes,

 to lose count of how many kisses

To go new places hand in hand and love the look on your face 

as much as the scenic sight, if not more

So ready; to hear everything you've never said. 

    To drift away to your body's hum and beat

To defy your disbeliefs

and reassure your dreams

I am so ready to show you a new love 

So ready to blow past your last

I've waited

I've grown

I'm so ready

For you
