Late

close but no cigar

Clenching my teeth; as hard as I fell for you

Balling my fist up; as if I'm preparing to break this wall down between us

Feeling all the heat from this hot love; boil my blood

Smiles simply removed from our faces

Distance and questions-  to fill all these spaces 

Where did you go and why?   Unnecessary answers

Old photographs and key chains; extra mood enhancers

If the song wasn't slow enough, there goes my heart rate

Fun while it lasted, but now it's too late

Yes very unorthodox, I must agree. Of all aspects, the flow/format is my most experimental vantage. I appreciate your opinion very much & look forward to any advice or feed back you may have. :-) I also very much so enjoy your writing!
