Swallow SorrowA Story by SavyNessSOMBERsaults
Familiar with that ache in your throat?
The feeling when no matter how much air is in your lungs you can't bare to force words past the barrier. The drop in your stomach then it does a SOMBERsault. Looking someone in their eyes that means the world to you and willingly distancing yourself across the map. Hearing voices that put the pep in your step, ONLY through a phone. Arms that make you feel safe, and now they are out of reach. DEFINE HOME. Not it is not where you lay your head at the end of the night; it is indeed the place that no matter the distance in between, your heart will reside. The people who make mornings not so rough and meals worth sitting around for. The questions that actually relieve burdens versus creating them. Boredom is not a factor, for their existence is enough. Time doesn't pass quite as fast, unless you are with them. Priceless sums up the moments there. and when you're away, you're familiar with that ache in your throat.
