Burn

Burn

A Poem by Savannah Bly
"

Do you want me to burn?

"
Burn
Do you want me to burn?
See me engulfed in flames
Nowhere to turn
My soul forever in pain

Is this how we all die?
In moments like these
With no time for goodbyes
Burning like forests of trees

You thought of justice
When no one was in the right
So you took the rules and the iron fist
And saw me as evil on sight

Is this how we all die?
In moments like these
With no time for goodbyes
Burning like forests of trees

This is incredibly relatable and beautifully penned! I do think this is how parts of us die.
