September Air

September Air

A Poem by Savannah Bly
"

A fall of autumn.

"

September Air

September air shows

A melody of sad lyrics in my head

A symphony of sounds

All around

The rain and mist

Falling on the trees of autumn

With orange leaves on the grey cement

Reflections of the sky

A gentle breeze of air

So serene

And bittersweet

This day of

September air shows

Almost 12 dark years

September 15, 2011

It shows he would have been forty
