Pass Aways

Pass Aways

A Poem by Savannah Bly
"

In the hallway of truth we all become Pass Aways

"

Pass Aways

In the long, broad hallway

I walk

In the long, broad hallway

Others walk

We glance at each other

Sometimes we say nothing

And sometimes we just say “hi”

There are few others,

And they keep to themselves

Yet each person does not

Truly know each other "

They don’t know what is in the heart

They glance and whisper the

Newly found gossip

That hardly could be true

So much happens in that one moment

But as we walk

We all become pass aways

Slowly dwindling into the darkness

Literal hallways or the hallway of life where we all become pass aways when we leave this life. Provocative.
