The Last Look

The Last Look

A Poem by Savannah Bly
"

The darkest way to lose someone

"
The Last Look
Have you ever just stared
into someone's eyes
looked deep into their soul
and just knew
that it was the last time
you'd see them
and as they start to walk away
you try to speak
to tell them
it will be okay
they turn back to look at you
and you realize
there is nothing you can say
anymore
they've lost the will
the hope
and the strength to carry on
they've lost their battle
their demons are out
and seizing control
they're already gone
they just have
one last breath
for their last look

Always do my friend and you're most welcome
a very haunting piece...could be illness or just love that is sick beyond coming back to health...

when that look happens, there is no turning it around...the end is soon...

yes, i have seen it----and it has seen me.
