The Ocean's Night SongA Poem by Savannah BlyThe Ocean’s Night Song The sun dances from east to west As the sky shows darkness appearing And the sea turns colder than it was For the stone tells legends in the dark As the mountain falls asleep And the night listens to the wind So the wind whispers to the stars The stars glow and give light For the moon reflects on the ocean As it turns to dawn which then Turns to morning and people wake up Their voices grow louder so you can Hardly hear the ocean’s song But it will sing it again, after the sun Dances from east to west © 2014 Savannah BlyAuthor's Note
