It's about defying authority and going on your own path.

Discovered

There are pathways

In my mind

There is a pathway

On this road

I need to follow

As everyone else

But my heart leads my feet

Disobeys my mind

I know it’s wrong

But I leave and stray

I don’t want to get caught

Breaking away

I smell wet air

I see orange,

Red and brown

All over

I hear voices

Bringing me back

I can’t get caught

They’ll find out

No one can know

No one can see me

We are supposed

To obey our minds

They’ll know I’m different

They’ll take it away

They don’t like

Creativity

They want smarts

I have to leave

But, I don’t want to

Give up what I found

My mind is buzzing

They’re taking it

Already

They have me

They are right

I am wrong

You always listen to

The authority over you
