I see no herA Poem by Fernando DardónA poem that describes the fake her beyond the girl I once was in love with
Where did she go?
Where's the time she spent? When she was on my head? She took herself away somewhere I don't know. Only a husk was left. She took all she gave, only a sigh remains for the things I once felt. Her name's unknown so does her tidy face, that her make up coats. And I speak to a strange 'cause the gleam in her eyes dimmed with her fake grace. I see no little care on her tasteless words that once were beloved ones. I see no childish girl. I see a grown up her, who forgot herself I see the now and yesterday of two different pictures where only one I recognize. What a shame, what a shame, that she had gone away, leaving her prince alone. Such a deep sadness I feel to see her indifference when I gave all I got © 2013 Fernando DardónAuthor's Note
