Don't Mess With Me

Don't Mess With Me

A Poem by Jeannette Ford

Filling his head with lies

Just because you despise me?

Honey take off your disguise

Let us see the real you.

I can see the anger and jealousy

Just seeping through.

You cannot hide because we see.

And  this is what I decree

We see what you are doing

So please just keep on moving.

Do not come to take my happiness

You will just make a bigger mess.

Go on and try to test

But you seem to forget

Messing with me

Is like a game of Russian Roulette.

Trust me when i say

I will not let you hurt me this way.

Go run and hide behind the words

You send through a text

Because when we are face to face

You are not going to be ready for what is next.
