HerA Poem by Savannah H. MooreThis poem is about being compare to another woman...a woman you don't really like or respect in any way.I hate being compared to her And I know I always am. I know I’m not her And I don’t want to be. She is a horrible woman who has hurt her family. I know you don’t understand Your too young You still idolize her. I know she is your mom But I can’t stand her. Never fear, For you will not hear the bitterness I feel When you compare me to her. One day you will open your eyes And realize the truth of who she is. One day, I can only pray, you won’t want to be anything like her. © 2013 Savannah H. Moore |
