DependenceA Poem by SavannahDependent - subject: being under the power or sovereignty of another
Help me
I don't understand and I don't know why This could be a good thing these troubles that arrived But I see you In the midst of my confusion My broken compass Where am I? Like the oceans in the night, I really am unsettled A small, small vessel floating I fall Though not too deep not high at all Afloat does not help I am among much unsaid... But I can not control this vast ocean in my head If it were up to me I'd be sunken dead I have no choice but to depend on the One Most Sacred I look to the sky, the very volt between You and I A good thing I need not ask why I will live each day by day Honestly I can say I can be my own worst enemy May it be Your will not mine I realize it's eternity not something for uncertainty. So float no more. Confusion at its end In the way of the Lord is where I will begin.... By: Savannah L Lara
