I hate it…

I want to hate you,

But I can’t.

My heart belongs to you.

I want to take it back.

But you won’t let go…

I wonder sometimes…

Am I just a game to you?

Something that caught your attention…

Like a child mesmerized by a shiny object,

A toy.

I can see it in your eyes.

An evil glint…

You’re the cat,

And I’m the untouchable mouse.

You want me in the worst ways.

You don’t love me,

You never did.

I hate it…

I want to hate you…

But I can’t.

Because I am helplessly,

In love with you.

And I hate it…

I have moved on. But this poem has been sitting for awhile so I felt it had to get out there. Honest opinion :)
