Thought of hell went to heaven

Thought of hell went to heaven

A Poem by Saurin Corvinus
"

A warrior fought for years and when he dies he feels he should go to hell for the deaths he's caused but instead he finds himself in front of the gates of heaven.

"

I fight with my sword in hand
Never quitting never to surrender
Blood is spilled on the cold sand
Beneath my feet hell readies its sender

To ready my soul for redemption
To cleanse me for my death ahead
Battle is my simple salvation
Now my soul heavy dead and dense as lead

My bones broken my blood spilled
I’m finally dead its over and said
Instead of fire and brimstone
A golden gate just for the living not the dead
