"UBUNTU" - I am because we are...A Poem by Shweta Singhthis African word sums it up all...
Only if I had the fairy dust
Your world would change for a brief period I'd have worked hard to get the town & people out of your head... as time flies by I just feel like Living a novel out as it passes by... stupid arguments & those long talks A very good laughter over those silly jokes.. like kids we'd share our every single dream to make the most of this life as if life is hanging on a light beam.. but then,as time hums the requiem of this dream, the careful me denies almost everything The sharper I grow, the harder I rebel & here dawns the big question Am I a prey to some silly emotion? This friendship set on fire, works as you please the shards spark high but soothes me with a cool breeze! inimically provoking to paint a smile all over me when you are rambling the mundane bonhomie nevertheless I still imagine
we float & dance till the thought sinks in I try to talk myself out of this love but see...It's just not happening so I lull myself to think of you just for once, in a day...the way you do but it never stops in my case it seems I have to sing our song for you, in the thick of this pace Ah! then I can smell your genuine smile breezing in my mind as though it will dig out & spread all over nothing but all the buried love & the next moment comes to make me realize you don't care to remember our vow & verse so how long my dear should I recite? I decide to walk away from this pain & pilf.... as this loneliness in love is more home to me than this love itself.......... © 2013 Shweta SinghAuthor's Note
