TRAPPEDA Poem by Dark PriestessA Dark Period of my lifeDarkness The
doors are closed There
is no way out of this maze Down
winding dark paths where sharp stones lie I
with my trusting eyes Go
Corruption The
ball is rolling Faster
and faster after me The
evil gurgle of the whirlpool's call Is
a warning bell to me As
the dark waters swirl and bubble Over
innocent heads at sea
Evil The
web is beginning to grow Grasping,
reaching for me I
cannot fight… I am too weak Yet
I know that I must break free Or
forever be trapped in this dark dark maze And
forever seek to be free
Destruction My
pattern falls apart As
I sit and watch Each
well-formed square Crumble
to dust, mere dust
Trapped! I
am trapped behind heavy doors Battering
to be let out Hammering
my fists till they are bruised and sore Praying
for eternity
