Losing Control

Losing Control

A Poem by Sascha

Can't hold it in any more
Gonna lose control
Who's to blame
When the demon takes over me
I'm letting go of hope
Can't think straight
My heart has been ripped out of my chest
By the words that you said to me
I've been given too many labels to count
I'm no longer defined as my own self
But as a mistake of my past
I can't see part this storm of darkness
That hides the fact that I'm in loved
But who will save me from my nightmares
And take me away from this hellish place
Is my fate sealed to just be a loner
Or am I just set to be a failure?

If people don't accept you for who you are, then you don't need to be around them. Yes, people judge, they pass comments, but real friends, they help, they accept you and most importantly stand by you when you fall and help you rise again.

Do not worry if someone doesn't understand you. Its their fault that they are opaque to your ideas and thinking.

Also, just because people don't understand someone doesn't mean that he/she is a failure. Throughout our history we've had people (who've never been understood by their teachers, classmates etc ) do great things.

Wonderful piece of writing.
Be yourself….because everyone else seems to be taken and at the end of the day don’t take anything personal because people hurling ugly words at you can’t see past their own BS

Good poem, sad. The world is actually pretty massive. I felt like I could never find acceptance for a while, but time, age, and location changed everything. Life can be amazing, even in the darkness. Thanks for sharing!
