interesting ...one is completely free to make what one will of so few words ... how incredulous that the art of labeling so successfully and unscrupulously makes changes ...
".....the Democratic-Republican Party, which Jefferson founded in opposition to the Federalist Party of Alexander Hamilton. "
the $2 bill gave it a good shot ...i saved several myself ...for posterity of course ;) really fine haiku says i! quite meaningful for me

Two dollar bills are very rare. I've hardly ever seen one, but this puts a scene in my mind of what the conditions and surroundings are just from a short poem. Nice job.

Very good, Anastasia. A wonderfully inventive haiku. Haven't seen a two dollar bill in ages. Or a single for that matter.

I use to give two dollar bills to my nieces and nephews for their birthday till they got old enough to understand the value of money and started to spend them. I still have a few pressed between the pages of a very thick dictionary, thanks for the reminder I had forgotten about them till I read your poem, I am eight dollars richer thanks to you :~) and I enjoyed the poem especially the last line, well done Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!
