It Is, We Are

It Is, We Are

A Poem by Stacy Purvis

One look from you could cure the pain,
One touch could chill the burn
One kiss could cure the hunger,
One word could last a lifetime.
Baby, it may just be a game..
this thing we call "life" but love..LOVE is real
It's the release of everything
you're holding deep inside..
It's a feeling...that you've never felt before..
of oneness-you and I
Don't hide it away...let it go, set your soul free..
Let her go and what she did.
It's keeping you from me.
The past is gone, the future is uncertain and
all we really have is now
Don't let another moment pass you by.
You've got to believe in you and me.
Just open your eyes so
you can see how beautiful we can be.
I love you and I love you and me.

I loved this poem. The feel of Donne in the words.
"you can see how beautiful we can be.
I love you and I love you and me."
The above lines are perfect. When two people find true love. A wonderful place to know. Thank you Anastasia for sharing the amazing poetry.
