Love In The Key Of "C"

Love In The Key Of "C"

A Poem by Stacy Purvis

A song isn’t a song without lyrics or a melody.

A story isn’t worth reading without passion

The music enchants with audible parody

And words transcend in adventurous fashion

I am a symphony without a maestro, incomplete.

Write your score upon my heart, so dear

Direct the orchestra in musical whim, indiscreet

And with the click of the baton to start, no fear

Send your love as the lights begin to dim.

And as each note impacts my mind and soul,

The composition changes and fills me within

My inner being with you becomes whole.

I loved these lines the most.. It's funny how we feel whole being with someone we crave to be with...
