I am envious of those who are able to write meaningful haiku. I am anything but a person of few words so before I can finish I have thought of a word that sound better or a phrase closer to my meaning. You would think someone who has been writing for over five decades wouldn't have this malady, I know it makes you want to shake your head it does me all the time :~)
Oh, back to the poem, I love that you identified your subject with the name Sunshine rather that personalize it with a persons name it broadens the scope of potential readers to relate with it. I am not a coffee person I drink tea but even I felt inclined to set and have a cup with you this morning :~) Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!

Maybe I'm off, but I took this as having coffee with the Sun, itself, the first time I read it. But I s'pose it fits just as well, and means the same, as having coffee with someone who IS your "Sunshine".
