Untied ShoesA Poem by Stacy Purvis
I could leave here tonight
Drive far away where no one knows my name Get lost in a crowd Somewhere between 10th and 12th downtown Never come back, get my life on track. Where did I go wrong? When I wanted a symphony I got another sad song. Same old story… Everyone’s looking for Love and Glory Tripped on an old shoe lace Ended up falling flat on my face. © 2017 Stacy PurvisFeatured Review
