Munchkin

Within 23 years I’ve learned the most the last 2 months,
over moaning and groaning and serious grunts
It’s the 3 AM feedings full of wonder in your innocent tiny eyes
It’s the smiles and laughs and sweet little sighs
The look of love as you gaze at my face
Pressed on my chest, two hearts sharing one space
Like a lock and a key
Somethings are just meant to be
You my son; me, your mommy
I’ve never felt so complete
Or in awe head to my feet
I promise I am yours forever
Feeling alone; you will never
Indulging during our endless cuddle
Tears of appreciation lead to muddle
Why can’t I cause this to slow down
appreciating beautiful adorned baby sound
Thank you for being my blessing
My world changed the moment you entered;no second-guessing
I need you and pray you’ll always need me
Loving life glued together so reluctant any different will be
As proud of the man you form I am bound be
In my heart my baby munchkin snuggled on my chest you will always be
