TwinA Poem by Saska KitochaTwin
So we stung those who loved us, And we’re sure it tore them open with bitter ice wounds. Chilled and venom rot, We should have known we were doomed. We should be imprisoned, With all the pain and blood we wrought, But here we are still, Devil’s golden-eyed twins, loneliness well sought.
So we stung those who loved us, And now we pillaged far beyond, Poison salt dagger, We know we don’t belong. We know we are tyrannous, And as cold and heartless as frozen stone. Stolen hinder brought us forth, We were always alone.
So we stung those who loved us And gained scorn from all around, Ill-knotted necks of scratchy, stingy, twine. We’re not lost but we’ll never be found. Needles prick and prod the jaded eye, Because no probing sight will ever see, The dancing bauble on a window’s shield, The devil’s darkling demon inside of me.
So I stung those who loved me, And burned those little blind brats, My anger screeched icy bellows for years, And I’ve held the scorn of a million mutilated cats. We are psychopathic fools. We know they all want us dead, But they can’t kill what they don’t see, And they are blind to those nasty voices in my head © 2012 Saska KitochaAuthor's Note
