Bittersweet ChronicleA Poem by Riya.G30This is a recent piece from my collection unlike the other writings in this account since they were penned down several years ago.
October wind caressed her cheeks
Reminiscence of the year gone by, The pain that was making her weak Formed tears on her eyes so shy. Lingering moments of the past sweet, Struck her with a yearning now. Existence so incomplete; yet Hopes for clarity but she knew not how. Emotions secrete, left unsaid He was at war with his own self. Would turn away but his heart widespread, The mirror reflection succumbs to himself. Bittersweet was the tale of the two, Love so poignant but futile, Passion they shared couldn't subdue; Yet the chronicle remained rueful. © 2015 Riya.G30Author's Note
