The Blank Paper

The Blank Paper

A Poem by Sasha
"

just a short verse.

"
Fill this paper up,
With words I don't know.
Write about pain.
Write it slow.
Feel each moment,
Don't let go.
Write about real pain,
Not the kind people normally show.
I'm talking about when you're alone,
And feel there is no falling,
Any further below.
Then when you run out of words,
Come back to me,
I'll give you some more.
Then write about that,
And the paper is filled up, OH No!

This is a very good poem. The rhyme scheme is clever but not too in your face. It's a good read

I love this!
Allot of people in my life are hurting so this kind of hit a raw nerve
but it flows so smoothly and it made me think.
thanx

When I can't write. I reach in and find pain. I read about the pain of others in old poetry. Nothing like a Neruda poem to open up the desire to write. The poem is more of motivation and thought. A excellent poem.
