Ambulance Ride

Ambulance Ride

A Poem by Sasha

I feel so exposed,

Like I've got nothing to hide.

As i lie in this ambulance.

A defribillator by my side.

I've been stripped off all my ego,

I've lost all my pride.

As i sit in this,

Long and painful, ambulance ride.

I wish my love was with me,

So i could say goodbye.

Before i end this small,

And insignificant life.

I'd like to tell her that I love her,

And when i'm gone not to cry.

And i'd like to do all this,

Before i rot and die.

My heart takes in its last breaths of life.

But i am at peace.

My doomsday has arrived.

And i have finally ended this long, and painful,

Ambulance Ride.

Before anyone asks, a defibrillator is a device which in movies they slam into the guy's chest n pass an electric current through him to get a dead guy to start living again.

We just go on and on. living, dying and living again. Its what we do in those few blips of our existence in this universe that matters. Gandhi said, everything we do in our life will be insignificant.. more..
