Letter

I have remembered you,
So much beloved, so much belonged
My darling friend, my closest soul.
And emptiness was filling me so long,
And solemn quietness still covers our home.
And every day and every night
All thoughts of you come back to mind.
What do I desperately hope for?
Just calling you �" and hearing no more,
So much beloved, so much adored,
Somewhere that no one’s returning from.
