On Summer's Margin

On Summer's Margin

A Poem by sasha

The midday sun slides along the curtains

turns slowly their yellow to pale blood-red

watching want to vanish into this soft light

with all my thoughts, dreams, wishes and

his phrases about love clung in my memory

merge with the billow clouds to swim high

away across the sky on the last August day

everyone has his own luck on summer’s margin.

Thank you for your words, Chris!

Welcome to WC. Having read your "About Me" I was prepared for the non-native speaker's language and word placement shifts. It made following the flow more understandable. You HAVE a good working understanding of English as a language.

The thought flow felt real and relevant. I understood where you were heading.

Nice!
You have interesting, 'well lit & spacious' cadence.
Punctuation kept to a minimum, which quite adds to the helium.

Well done. And thanks for sharing, sasha
