Waiting for the night

Waiting for the night

A Poem by sasha

1.

fruit bats rest in trees

dusk falling on the village

time to fly all night

2.

taking the ferry

the other side of the river

no one’s waiting

3.

on a cold evening

how the thunder rumbles

someone knocks at the door

Such a full sense of ...
silence - outside while within
I can almost ...breathe.

Senryu... well linked

It so nice to hear about silence, thank you, Chris.
nice haiku and senryu...

separate but in sense they all connect into a story...

"someone's knocking at the door, somebody's ringing the bell"
